You've Got The Power

YOU’VE GOT THE POWER

We exchange our legal right to have power over all forces, over principalities on this earth and gave in to demonic denomination. When eve stood in the garden and submitted her will to the temptation of satan, she lost her right to dominate the sin nature. Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
 Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Her power was in her ability to command and that was where she was defeated when she submitted to the voice of sin. Defeat destruction and agony was immediately released in her life by her subjection to the voice of the wicked one. When children arrive on this earth to a family, they come with so much domination that words become unnecessary to display their control. They have no words in their vocabulary, the vocal cord is not properly developed for words; yet, without that ability, their every command is instantly met. The power that they arrive with is displayed through their every cry, and responses are immediately attended to: by the most intellectual of mankind. Without words they are fed, at the appropriate time, diapers are changed when demanded and affection and attention received with out one having to jump through a hoop. The power and authority displayed through a wordless society should well serve as a lesson to us, but does it? When one gets to an age of accountability and gives in to the voices of others you really have to wonder what caused that soul to lose his passion for the power that gave him the ability to overcome the obstacles of infancy. The power within that encouraged him to walk and to speak. The power within that would demand a certain toy, clothing, appliances, shoes, or even a parent time. When does one lose the ability to walk in that power that would change his life in a negative sense, and that, sometimes last for as long as for eternity. One loses that power and begins to walk in bondage when they give in to the sin nature. You are not overcome by a sin when you say no to that sin. You are dominated by the sin when u say, yes to it. One does not become a drug addict, a prostitute, an alcoholic or an homosexual by saying no. The minute you say yes to that sin it takes control of your life and refuses to let go. How do you get the power in your life once again to say no to this sin nature and get your life back. The way to get your power back is in the name of Jesus. Some say his name once, others say it ten times, but if you have to call him one hundred or one thousand times, and mean business with him. There is one guarantee that you can be sure of; and that is his name is the only name that will give you your power back. With his name on your lips no sin is hard to overcome or conqueror. John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Matthew 9:8
But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men. Mark 12:24
And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? Luke 4:36
And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out. Luke 4:32
And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. John 17:2
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. Micah 3:8
But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
